Algorithmic Trader

An international HFT company is looking for an Algorithmic Trader to join its team in Dubai.We are looking for strong early-career professionals with a technical or mathematical background, solid programming skills, and a genuine interest in algorithmic, high-frequency, and quantitative trading.Responsibilities- Trade a wide range of financial instruments.- Develop, maintain, and improve trading strategies and algorithms.- Participate in running trading desks.- Manage trade execution and risk across trading portfolios.- Analyze market data and identify opportunities to improve trading strategies.- Work closely with developers on trading-related systems and projects.- Participate in testing, optimization, and deployment of trading algorithms.- Continuously develop expertise in algorithmic trading, quantitative trading, and HFT.Requirements- University graduation in 2023–2025, preferably in a STEM field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.- Strong analytical and mental arithmetic skills.- 1–3 years of programming experience in any programming language.- At least 1 year of professional/commercial software development experience.- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.- Fluent English for communication with English-speaking colleagues.- Willingness to relocate to Dubai, UAE.Nice to Have- Participation in national or international competitions and olympiads, such as ICPC, IMO, IOI, national olympiads, Codeforces, or similar competitions.- Strong academic performance.- Experience with Python, C++, Java, Go, or another programming language.- Interest in financial markets, algorithmic trading, quantitative trading, or HFT.- Experience with backtesting, market data, trading bots, research projects, or mathematical modeling.- Knowledge of statistics, probability, optimization, or machine learning.What We Offer- Relocation to Dubai, UAE.- Relocation package.- An opportunity to enter the algorithmic / quantitative trading field without prior professional trading experience.- Hands-on work with trading strategies, algorithms, execution, and risk management.- Performance-based bonus.- International English-speaking environment.- Workations twice a year.- Opportunity to work alongside experienced traders, quants, and developers.
