With a full spectrum of services from design to commercialization, Ajanta Bottle offers opportunities to work on innovative packaging solutions in a dynamic, growing organization.Role Description The AM Purchase – Cosmetics Packaging role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities for cosmetics packaging, including sourcing suppliers for glass, metal, and closure components, requesting and evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices and terms. The individual will monitor inventory levels, plan purchases to meet production and sales forecasts, and coordinate closely with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining vendor relationships, tracking purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and specifications, and supporting cost optimization and process improvement initiatives in the purchasing function.Qualifications Experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in packaging or cosmetics, with strong vendor management and negotiation skills.Knowledge of glass, metal packaging, closures, and related materials, including understanding of quality standards and specifications.Ability to manage purchase planning, inventory control, and coordination with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and logistics.Strong analytical and Excel skills for cost analysis, bid comparison, and purchase order tracking, along with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes, prepare reports, and interact professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in supply chain or materials management are an advantage.Prior experience in an FMCG, cosmetics, or packaging environment is preferred, along with familiarity with ERP or procurement software.Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement in purchasing processes.
