With a long-term vision aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, MGT is committed to being recognized for quality, reliability, accountability, and professional delivery.Role Description The AMC Fire Protection Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam. This role is responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection and firefighting systems under annual maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing system faults, documenting service activities and reports, and supporting system upgrades or modifications as needed. The technician will coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and client representatives to plan work, ensure site safety, and minimize operational disruptions. The role also involves maintaining tools and equipment, adhering to safety and quality procedures, and providing technical feedback to improve service performance.Qualifications Technical proficiency in fire protection and firefighting systems, including inspection, testing, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.Knowledge of fire alarm systems and low current/security systems (e.g., detectors, panels, control devices, cabling) considered an advantage.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, system layouts, and manufacturer manuals for installation and maintenance tasks.Strong awareness of safety standards, industry regulations, and relevant local codes for fire protection and building safety.Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing system issues and implementing corrective actions.Good communication skills to interact with clients, supervisors, and team members, and to prepare clear service reports.Capability to work on-site, including physical tasks such as climbing ladders, handling tools, and working in industrial environments.Technical diploma or certification in fire protection, electrical, or related field; prior experience in fire systems maintenance or similar roles is preferred.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites within the region as required.Commitment to professional conduct, reliability, and continuous learning in line with MGT’s quality and service standards.
