The team is committed to measurable progress and the belief that, with the right guidance, every student can succeed.Role Description The American English Tutor is responsible for delivering engaging, clear instruction in American Accent English to students in one-on-one and small-group online sessions. Day-to-day tasks include planning lessons aligned with student goals, teaching grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing skills, and conversational fluency. The tutor will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to support different learning styles and academic levels. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, communicating with families or adult learners about progress, and using digital tools to create interactive learning materials. This is a full-time, remote role.QualificationsStrong command of American Accent English, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing.Experience in tutoring, teaching, or coaching learners in English language or related subjects.Ability to plan lessons, set learning objectives, and adapt instruction to individual student needs.Proficiency with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital educational resources.Excellent communication skills, patience, and a student-centered, inclusive teaching approach.Strong organizational skills for scheduling, tracking progress, and managing multiple students.Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.Experience working with K–12 students, adult learners, or test preparation (e.g., TOEFL, SAT verbal) is a plus.
