Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting, Governance & Risk Management Support annual Actimize system reviews and governance assessments. Prepare documentation for audits, regulatory examinations, model reviews, and governance forums. Maintain evidence supporting screening controls, KPI monitoring, testing, and tuning activities. Track incidents, action plans, exceptions, and remediation efforts related to the screening platform. Participate in regional and Group screening governance forums and working groupsReview and creation of Suspicious Transaction ReportsAnalyze and monitor CTR reportingExpert AdviceSupport business priorities by completion of requested activities within TATProvide SME technical and analytical advice and support during meetings and discussions with 1st line function, members of senior management, etc.AssuranceConduct periodic assessments of screening data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and integrity. Perform data reconciliations between source systems and Actimize databases. Analyze ETL processes and identify data mapping or transformation issues impacting screening outcomes. Establish controls to detect missing records, data feed failures, truncation issues, or screening gaps. Monitor reconciliation metrics and escalate material data quality concerns. Partner with IT and data engineering teams to investigate and resolve data issues.TransformationProvide support as AML SME in transforming the operational aspect of AML, Sanctions, & ABCIdentify areas for possible transformation activities and coordinate with the Transformation lead within Compliance and other functional units.Education and TrainingLead in the development of AML Systems, Sanctions, and ABC related training modules using training-needs and risk-bases analysesProvide trainings related to AML and ABC in accordance with the training planHelps maintain and promote a compliance culture across the businessSystemsServe as the primary Business Unit contact and subject matter expert for Aml Systems and ensuring that the systems are working properly and efficientlyLiaison officer between back end support and first line on the AML systemsEnsure data integrity and accuracy of AML systems.Serve as the primary Business Unit contact and subject matter expert for Aml Systems and ensuring that the systems are working properly and efficientlyManage day-to-day oversight of Actimize screening processes, configurations, watchlists, and system performance. Coordinate with Group Compliance and Technology teams on system upgrades, enhancements, configuration changes, and production issues. Maintain system governance documentation, configuration records, and change history logs. Support formal change management processes for model parameter adjustments, threshold changes, scoring changes, and screening configuration updates.Review and creation of rules for suspicious transactions, customer due diligence and sanctions screeningData Analytics & Performance MonitoringDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics used to monitor Actimize performance. Analyze large screening datasets to identify trends, anomalies, control weaknesses, and opportunities for optimization. Monitor key performance indicators including: Alert volumes False positive rates True positive rates Screening effectiveness Screening efficiency Data quality metrics Screening coverage metrics Investigate significant deviations in screening volumes, customer screening populations, watchlist volumes, and alert outputs. Produce regular management reporting and analytics packs for Compliance leadership. Perform root cause analysis on unusual screening behavior and recommend remediation actionsRisk and Compliance /OthersAll other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.Minimum Job Requirements:Education –Business, Law, Computer Science, Data Science or related courses.Experience –Minimum 3 years of experience in AML, KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, financial crime analytics, or a related compliance function.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends, anomalies, and control gaps.Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, data analysis).Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying and validating data.Experience preparing management reporting, dashboards, and KPI metrics.Knowledge of AML, KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and suspicious activity monitoring concepts.Experience conducting investigations, risk assessments, or alert reviews.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Data teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and operate in a highly regulated environment.Certifications/licenses –Desirable – Certified Anti-Money Laundering SpecialistReceived data analytics training or has attended data analytics certificate programsACAMSSpecial skills -Knowledge of global financial crime compliance with regulation in different countriesLinks developments in global trade, markets, business practices and the economic environment to required improvements in the financial and risk management of the Company.A highly collaborative work style and the ability to partner with staff at all levels of the businessStrong communication skills and experience managing relationships with senior stakeholdersAdaptable and comfortable working in areas of significant ambiguityExcellent time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlinesKnowledge of financial crime regulation, client onboarding and/or client life-cycle management in financial servicesExceptional executive presentation and communication skillsExcellent influencing and problem resolution skillsMust be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of digital/technical understanding.High-level written and verbal communication skills.Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.SQL skillsHelp with implementation of this tool; will need to be technical but not detailed programming but some customizationAnalytical SkillsThe ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.Problem-solving skills.Methodical and logical approach.Ability to plan work and meet deadlines.Accuracy and attention to detail.
