Built on modern financial rails and applied AI, it supports real-world use cases including payments, remittances, and digital services, designed for reliability, security, and scale. We’re starting with deployments across markets where modern infrastructure meets real operational demand and expanding globally from there. Initial institutional deployments are underway, with commercial agreements in place and revenue already being realized. If you’re mission-oriented and motivated by building durable systems and shaping the next generation of digital infrastructure, we’d love to build with you.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Compliance & AML Lead to own and scale our financial crimes compliance function as the platform grows, while supporting the application for, maintenance of, and ongoing compliance with Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs).This role is central to how we operate, ensuring that regulatory rigor and operational execution move in lockstep with product and market expansion. You’ll immediately stand up and operate core compliance infrastructure for our market expansion, including customer due diligence, customer risk rating, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, investigations, and regulatory reporting. volumes and values, alert and case activity, and other key risk indicators, with daily, monthly, and annual reporting views.Implement and maintain Travel Rule compliance programs across operating jurisdictions as required.Own the compliance technology stack and key vendors across KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and case management, including implementation, configuration, tuning, data quality, vendor performance, and effectiveness testing.Ongoing Program ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of contact with regulators, auditors, legal counsel, and other third parties in connection with licensing, examinations, audits, reviews, and regulatory inquiries.Manage ongoing state money transmitter compliance, including license renewals, regulatory reporting, examinations, change-of-control and change-management filings, permissible investment requirements, surety bonds, complaints, and regulator inquiries.Develop clear compliance reporting for senior management and the Board, including key risk indicators, program effectiveness, material issues, regulatory developments, and remediation status, and promptly escalate material compliance risks.Design, implement, and maintain key components of the compliance and risk management program, including policies, procedures, controls, risk assessments, and governance.Own AML program execution, including risk assessments, transaction monitoring oversight, investigations, alert escalation, and internal control evaluations, initially focused on our international market obligations with U.S. controls expanding as licensure progresses.Conduct ongoing monitoring and testing to assess the effectiveness of AML, sanctions, transaction monitoring, and operational compliance controls.Maintain and evolve compliance documentation as regulatory requirements, products, and markets change.Support internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and supervisory inquiries, including remediation of identified issues.Develop and support compliance training and awareness programs to reinforce a compliance-first culture.Partner closely with product and technology teams to
