We are looking for an experienced AML professional who can transform complex compliance requirements into practical and engaging learning experiences.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced AML Compliance Trainer / CAMS Specialist to deliver professional training covering AML/CFT, KYC, customer due diligence, sanctions, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity, and financial-crime risk management.The ideal candidate combines practical compliance experience with strong regulatory knowledge and excellent teaching, coaching, and presentation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging AML and financial-crime compliance training through online classes, workshops, seminars, and corporate sessions.Develop training programs covering AML/CFT, KYC, CDD, EDD, sanctions, beneficial ownership, transaction monitoring, and suspicious-activity risks.Explain complex compliance concepts through practical examples, case studies, scenarios, exercises, and assessments.Train compliance, risk, finance, operations, onboarding, customer-service, and management teams on relevant AML responsibilities.Develop presentations, training manuals, case studies, quizzes, assessments, and supporting learning materials.Explain customer-risk assessment, beneficial ownership, source of funds, source of wealth, screening, monitoring, escalation, and reporting concepts.Teach participants how to identify red flags, unusual transactions, suspicious behavior, and potential financial-crime indicators.Provide practical guidance on escalation, investigation, documentation, reporting, and record-keeping procedures.Conduct knowledge assessments, mock scenarios, quizzes, and interactive workshops to evaluate learner understanding.Provide constructive feedback and recommend targeted learning plans based on identified knowledge gaps.Track attendance, participation, assessment results, completion rates, and training outcomes.Stay current with applicable AML/CFT laws, regulatory guidance, sanctions developments, international standards, and emerging financial-crime trends.Review and update training materials following significant regulatory, legislative, or procedural changes.Support organizations in strengthening AML awareness, compliance culture, employee training, and internal controls.Collaborate with compliance officers, MLROs, risk teams, legal departments, and business stakeholders to identify training needs.Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear guidance for both compliance specialists and non-specialist employees.Deliver refresher and targeted training following regulatory changes, audit findings, incidents, or identified control weaknesses.Prepare training reports, participant feedback summaries, assessment results, and management updates.Maintain confidentiality of customer information, investigation details, internal policies, compliance records, and proprietary materials.Follow applicable laws, regulatory requirements, professional standards, data-protection obligations, and organizational policies.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of professional experience in AML, financial-crime compliance, KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring, compliance advisory, or risk management is preferred.CAMS certification or active CAMS status is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks, KYC/CDD, EDD, sanctions, beneficial ownership, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity, and financial-crime risks.Proven experience delivering compliance training, professional education, workshops, coaching, or employee-awareness programs.Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and public-speaking abilities.Ability to explain complex compliance and regulatory concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.Strong analytical, investigative, research, and problem-solving skills.Practical experience with AML policies, customer-risk assessments, due diligence, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, or compliance controls.Familiarity with UAE/MENA regulatory expectations and international AML standards is advantageous.Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Zoom, LMS platforms, and digital learning tools.Strong ability to develop practical training materials, scenarios, case studies, and assessments.Experience in banking, fintech, payments, insurance, investment, virtual assets, or other regulated industries is advantageous.Knowledge of FATF standards and relevant financial-crime frameworks is advantageous.ICA, CFE, CRCM, or other relevant
