Analyst - Application Development (Java-based cloud/non-cloud system)

Position SummaryThe Analyst - Application Development is responsible for working with hands-on development tasks, solution design and cooperate with distributed team to complete the development projects. Provide technical expertise on design, analysis, implementation on web/mobile application, enterprise systems, and Java-based cloud/non-cloud system integrations.Primary ResponsibilityDesign, develop, and maintain secure enterprise backend applications and microservices primarily using Java.Build, test, and deploy robust cloud integration workflows, data pipelines, and REST/SOAP API services to connect in-house and external systems.Develop the application and solution compile with the Application Development team coding standard and practicesEnsure the security, capacity, performance and availability of systems in data, full-stack enterprise applications, and cloud integration perspectivesCooperate/Co-develop with the external vendors to deliver the project timely with qualityDesign and develop the application solutions to meet the business needs (native, web, mobile, API service/application)Cooperate with distributed teams to design and develop the application solutions to meet the business requirement and expectationWork with project manager to engage users for requirement gathering, implementation, testing and adoptionRequirementsBachelor degree or above in computer science or equivalent majorProficient in Java (including frameworks like Spring Boot or Hibernate) for enterprise application and API developmentCommunicate in Cantonese or Mandarin is requiredGood written and oral communication skills in EnglishSelf-motivated and able to work in a stressful and demanding work environmentAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills will be a great plusHands-on experience in modern applications (web / mobile) design and development will be a great plusFamiliar with design pattern and development framework will be a good plusHands-on experience or exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), SAP Integration Suite, or SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model will be a strong advanced plusExperience in DevOps/Agile/Scrum/CICD process will be preferableGaming or hospitality industry experience is good plusExperience in container and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) will be a good plus
