Analyst | Hong KongChocolate Asset Management is a Hong Kong Type 9 licensed asset manager. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Analyst to join our team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.The RoleGain broad exposure to asset management through investment analysis, portfolio monitoring and fund administration, working closely with our investment team and external service providers.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market research and support investment analysis.Monitor portfolio performance, exposures and risk, and prepare reports.Assist with trade monitoring, cash flows, corporate actions and reconciliations.Support NAV review, fund accounting, financial reporting and audit coordination.Assist with KYC, compliance documentation and other fund administration matters.Improve reporting and workflows using Excel, coding and AI tools where appropriate.What We’re Looking ForA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Good written and spoken English and a strong interest in financial markets.Additional AdvantagesCoding experience, such as Python or VBA.Experience using Claude, ChatGPT or similar AI tools, particularly developing AI agents or automated workflows.CPA, ACCA, CFA or FRM qualifications, or progress towards any of these.Relevant experience in investment analysis, asset management, fund administration, accounting.
