Role Overview:The Analyst will support the investment team of Bajaj Group in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments across asset classes including private equity, public markets, venture capital, and structured opportunities. The role requires strong financial analysis, diligence capabilities, and an ability to work across diverse investment strategies.Key Responsibilities:1. Deal Sourcing & ScreeningTrack investment opportunities across private and public marketsBuild relationships with founders, bankers, funds, and intermediariesEvaluate inbound deals and prepare initial screening notes2. Financial Analysis & ValuationBuild and maintain financial models (DCF, comparable companies, transaction comps)Perform detailed business, financial, and industry analysisEvaluate investment risks and return potential3. Due DiligenceCoordinate commercial, financial, legal, and tax diligenceAnalyze data rooms, financial statements, and management inputsIdentify key risks and mitigation strategies4. Investment ExecutionAssist in structuring transactions (equity, CCPS, debt instruments, etc.)Prepare investment memos and IC presentationsSupport negotiations and documentation processes5. Portfolio MonitoringTrack performance of portfolio companies and fundsPrepare periodic MIS, valuation updates, and investor reportsEngage with management teams for performance tracking6. Research & StrategyConduct thematic and sector research (e.g., financial services, consumer, tech)Identify emerging investment trends and opportunitiesSupport asset allocation and portfolio strategy decisionsQualifications & Experience:2-5 years overall experience.CA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed Institute with strong undergraduate academic background, preferably Tier 1 Engineering/Technology Colleges.Experience in investment banking, consulting, P/VC, or equity research preferredSkills Required:Strong financial modelling and valuation skillsHigh attention to detail and analytical thinkingAbility to synthesize large amounts of informationStrong communication and presentation skillsEntrepreneurial mindset and ownershipReporting To : Managing Partner
