Analyst – Strategic Finance, 3 days a week on site, NYC, $70-$90k Base Salary + 10% BonusWe're partnering with a well-established, high-growth eCommerce retailer in the jewelry industry on the search for a Analyst, Strategic Finance to join its finance team.You'll support the Head of Strategic Finance and partner cross-functionally with Commercial and Product Development senior leadership to turn data into insight that actually has an impact. You will also be key in helping build out AI functions to help improve workflows & processes.They are looking for someone with in house Strategic Finance, FP&A, IB, PE, Equity Research, or Management Consulting experience who wants to be apart of shaping out finance functions and business decision making.What you'll be doing:Analyze performance against forecasts, flagging room for growth and translating them into actionable insightBuild and improve financial models, processes, and reportingOwn key pieces of the Marketing, Operations, and Merchandising budgets, tracking actuals against forecast and communicating with senior leadershipIdentify cost efficiency opportunities and track the impact once changes are underwayPrepare and deliver performance presentations to senior leadership, using numbers to tell a storySupport broader data transformation work, including reporting improvements and data managementWhat we're looking for:1-2 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, equity research, or an in-house strategic finance teamStrong financial modeling skills, Excel and PowerPoint experienceAbove average AI skills; comfortable using AI tools to speed up analysis and reportingAbility to interpret complex data and turn it into recommendations leadership can act onStrong written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage senior stakeholdersBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA a pluseCommerce experienceExposure to SAP, Power BI, or Tableau, and working knowledge of SQL or Python, is a plusCompensation & logistics:Base salary: $70,000 to $90,000, plus a 10% target annual cash bonusHybrid schedule: 3 days per week in the Manhattan office
