This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the world of equity management, financial analytics, and B2B finance content.You will be the brain behind the research, working at the intersection of finance, data, and strategy. We don't just want someone who can find data — we want someone who knows what to do with it.Key Responsibilities Conduct independent, in-depth research on financial topics relevant to equity management, cap tables, startup funding, valuations, ESOPs, and related B2B finance domainsIdentify, gather, and analyze data from credible financial sources to develop original insights, statistics, and analytical studies for blog contentProactively propose and ideate new blog topics backed by data, market trends, and audience relevance — taking full ownership of the research pipelineManage the research framework for Eqvista's educational and informational blog, ensuring all topics are niche-relevant, accurate, and industry-alignedCollaborate closely with the Marketing team and Financial Analysts to align research output with business goals and content strategyDevelop data-driven research reports, outlines, and briefs that guide the creation of authoritative financial blog postsMeet deadlines consistently and manage multiple research projects simultaneously in a remote work settingStay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in equity management, startup ecosystems, and B2B financeReview and validate financial information for accuracy and credibility, ensuring all research meets Eqvista's quality standardsBuild and maintain a research repository of financial data, references, market statistics, and insights for ongoing useRequired Qualifications2–3 years of proven experience in financial research, analytical research, or a closely related roleBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics and BusinessStrong proficiency in using Crunchbase and PitchBook for financial data sourcing and analysisStrong understanding of equity management, financial markets, corporate finance, or startup funding ecosystemsDemonstrated ability to independently research, analyze, and synthesize complex financial data into structured, meaningful insightsExperience working in or with a B2B financial services or fintech environment is highly preferredProficiency in identifying and working with credible financial data sources (SEC filings, market databases, financial reports, industry publications, etc.)Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines without supervisionProactive mindset — someone who takes initiative, brings new ideas to the table, and leads research efforts independentlyPreferred ProfileExposure to SEC filings, EDGAR database, or financial regulatory researchKnowledge of ESOP, 409A valuations, or startup equity structuresExperience working cross-functionally with marketing or product teamsFamiliarity with tools like Bloomberg, Statista, or similar financial research platformsBackground in CFA, MBA Finance, or equivalent academic/professional credentials
