Job Title: Analytics Engineer

Location: RemoteJob Summary: We are seeking a technically strong Analytics Engineer to stabilize and improve a set of reporting data pipelines that support critical dashboards.

Our team is looking for someone who can diagnose issues quickly, clean up legacy workflows, strengthen monitoring, and leave behind clear documentation that makes the environment easier to maintain.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair a prioritized backlog of stalled or broken reporting pipelines.Replace a drop-and-recreate table build with an in-place write that preserves existing access permissions.Update workflow alerting, inventory BI data sources, and validate downstream consumers before making changes.Retire unused workflows and tables through a staged process, add freshness checks, and produce runbooks for all touched workflows.Required:Must have prior experience working within enterprise-level organizations in Media, Big Tech, Streaming, Entertainment, or Music industries.Must be located in Pacific Time Zone5+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering with hands-on ownership of production pipelines.Experience with billing, cost, or financial reporting data.Strong experience with Trino/Presto Experience with Python and pandas for data processing and validation.Experience building and maintaining scheduled workflows in an orchestration tool such as Airflow or similar.Working knowledge of Tableau published data sources and extracts, plus comfort with git and pull-request workflows.Ability to debug pipelines built by others, work from incomplete documentation, and produce clear written documentation.About SSI People: With over 26 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
