The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Android Automotive and embedded Android applications and system components for in-vehicle infotainment and related systems. Responsibilities include integrating Android frameworks with automotive hardware, optimizing performance and reliability, and debugging and resolving issues at the application and system level. Engineers collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, hardware engineers, and QA, to define requirements, review designs, and support validation and deployment.
