Android Developer (B2C・Core Feature Development)

In this role, you'd be working on one of the core features of their Android App, including both new feature development and improvement planning, as well as refactoring a huge codebase.There are a lot of interesting technical challenges to undertake for such a large-scale service, where you can have a big impact not just in Japan but globally -- for that reason, you'd also work closely with overseas engineering teams in South Korean, Taiwan, etc., to maintain consistency with other modules and the overall architecture.What would you be doing?Design, development, and operation of core features, while considering consistency with the entire large-scale system.Support migration to a modern Android architecture using Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, etc., and refactoring existing systems.Make proposals for product planning, technology selection, and design that leverage the expertise of a developer.Collaborate with team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and sharing of technical knowledge.What benefits do they offer?Hybrid Remote Work, 3 days per week in-office.Subsidies for Learning Japanese / English, Social Gatherings, Book Purchasing, and more.Many forms of Paid Leave, including company-wide holidays like Summer Holidays, Winter Holidays, and Happy Friday's, as well as Parental Care Leave.What kind of experience are we looking for?5+ years professional experience in Android Development, ideally using Kotlin.Team development with code reviewsPractical experience with modern Android development methodologies such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines.Business-level communication skills in English OR Japanese.
