About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and skilled Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications and SDKs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java and Kotlin, a deep understanding of Android architecture, and experience building scalable, enterprise-grade mobile solutions.You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver robust mobile applications while driving engineering excellence through clean code, code reviews, and modern development practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain native Android applications and mobile SDKs using Java and Kotlin.Integrate third-party SDKs, RESTful APIs, and backend services.Build scalable, reusable frameworks and components to support business requirements.Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering teams to understand and implement product requirements.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Ensure high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the overall mobile platform strategy.Implement clean code principles and maintain coding standards across the team.Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and innovative solutions for new product ideas.Create and maintain technical documentation and mentor fellow engineers.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across Android devices and OS versions.Support CI/CD processes and release management activities.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills4–7 years of hands-on experience in Native Android Application Development.Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.Deep understanding of the Android Application Lifecycle and Android Architecture Components.Extensive experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android development practices.Strong understanding of Android UI development and handling multiple screen sizes and device configurations.Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and remote data integration.Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and Design Patterns.Experience designing and implementing n-tier architectures (Presentation/UI Layer, Business Logic Layer, Data Layer).Familiarity with Android Support Libraries, Jetpack Components, and Material Design Guidelines.Experience with Push Notifications, Cloud Messaging APIs (FCM), and background services.Proficiency in debugging, performance optimization, and memory management.Experience with code versioning systems such as Git and SVN.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly understand and contribute to existing codebases.Preferred SkillsExperience developing reusable Android SDKs.Exposure to server-side development and backend integrations.Knowledge of mobile application security best practices.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.Understanding of current mobile application development trends and best practices.Nice to HaveKnowledge of React.js and React Native.Experience with Payment Gateway Integrations and payment modules.Exposure to cross-platform mobile development frameworks.Experience working on large-scale consumer-facing applications.Soft SkillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.Strong ownership mindset and attention to detail.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and business domains.Passion for building high-quality user experiences and scalable mobile solutions.What We OfferOpportunity to work on cutting-edge mobile products and SDKs.Collaborative and innovation-driven engineering culture.Exposure to modern technologies, architecture patterns, and large-scale systems.Career growth opportunities with technical leadership responsibilities.Flexible and Agile work environment.If you are passionate about building high-performance Android applications and driving mobile innovation, we'd love to hear from you.
