In addition to service discovery, the platform provides structured appliance information so users can research, compare, and understand products before buying. FatafatService is dedicated to enabling a robust maintenance and service ecosystem that supports both homeowners and service professionals across India.Role Description We are looking for a passionate Android Developer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in building high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern Android development using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.We are also looking for developers who actively leverage AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to improve productivity, code quality, debugging, and software design. The ability to use AI effectively as part of the development workflow is considered an important skill.Responsibilities* Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.* Build modern UI using Jetpack Compose.* Implement scalable applications following MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.* Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.* Consume REST APIs and integrate backend services.* Debug, optimize, and improve application performance.* Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.* Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.* Use AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) effectively for:  * Code generation and refactoring  * Debugging and issue resolution  * Documentation  * Learning new APIs and frameworks  * Improving development productivity while validating AI-generated code* Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and best practices.Required Skills* Minimum 2 years of professional Android development experience.* Strong proficiency in Kotlin.* Good knowledge of Jetpack Compose.* Strong understanding of MVVM Architecture.* Good understanding of Clean Architecture principles.* Experience with Coroutines and Flow.* Knowledge of Android Jetpack components.* Experience integrating REST APIs using Retrofit or similar libraries.* Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.* Good debugging and problem-solving skills.* Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills* Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).* Experience with Room Database.* Knowledge of Firebase services.* Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store.* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
