Job Title: Android DeveloperLocation: India (Remote)Hire Type: Full-Time / PermanentWork Timing: 3:00 pm – 12:00 am OR 4:00 pm – 1:00 am ISTNote: There will be early morning or late-night meetings every week.Job Summary:As an Android Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the client Android application, ensuring compatibility with recent Android updates, addressing customer issues, and implementing new features.Key Responsibilities:Study existing source code to understand the architecture and key components of the client Android appDocument the application architecture, code execution flow, and external dependenciesMake necessary updates to ensure compatibility with recent Android OS versionsAddress customer issues and implement improvement requestsImplement and integrate new features developed by the clientCollaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing of new implementationsParticipate in Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint ReviewsSupport deployment of both beta and general availability versions of the app.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum of 6 years of experience developing Android applications utilizing Java and/or Kotlin programming languagesExperience with RxJAVA and MVVM architectureFamiliarity with third-party integrations including social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, SoundCloud)Experience with Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, App Distribution and so onKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android applications (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)Understanding of Google Play Console deployment processesAbility to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with audio and video processing applications is a plusFamiliarity with audio/video streaming technologies is a plusExperience with maintaining and updating mobile applications which have large user base (more than 100K Monthly Active User)
