The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, MVVM architecture, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Android development tools. Exposure to IoT-based applications will be an added advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.Build scalable and user-friendly mobile applications using the Android SDK.Implement MVVM architecture and appropriate software design patterns.Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.Work with SQL databases for data storage and management.Develop and integrate Android applications with IoT devices and connected systems.Perform debugging, testing, performance optimization, and issue resolution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Use Android Studio for development, debugging, and application profiling.Follow coding standards, design principles, and best practices for maintainable code.Manage source code and collaborate with team members using Git/GitHub.Required SkillsetStrong programming experience in Kotlin and Java.Hands-on experience with Android SDK and Android application development.Good understanding of MVVM architecture and software Design Patterns.Experience working with RESTful APIs and API integration.Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts.Hands-on experience with Android Studio.Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control.Understanding of Android application lifecycle, UI development, debugging, and performance optimization.Good problem-solving and communication skills.Experience with IoT / connected-device applications.Good to HaveExposure to Bluetooth/BLE, MQTT, or other IoT communication protocols.Knowledge of CI/CD practices for Android applications.Understanding of mobile application security and performance optimization.
