Lead Android Developer | Remote Crypto & PaymentsWe’re looking for a hands-on Lead Android Developer to take ownership of the Android engineering standards for a fast-growing international fintech product.This is a technical leadership role without formal people management. You’ll spend around 90% of your time coding while guiding architecture, security, code quality, CI/CD and release practices across the Android team.What you’ll be doing:Building production features with Kotlin and Jetpack ComposeOwning Android architecture and key technical decisionsImproving CI/CD and the Google Play release pipelineEstablishing high standards for security, testing and code reviewsMentoring Android engineers and helping them growCollaborating with Product, Design, Backend and QAWhat we’re looking for:6+ years of commercial Android developmentDeep knowledge of Kotlin, Coroutines and FlowProduction experience with Jetpack ComposeStrong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture and MVI trade-offsExperience owning CI/CD and Google Play releasesUnderstanding of Android security, including Keystore, encrypted storage, biometric authentication, root detection and SSL pinningA track record of technical leadership and hands-on mentorshipStrong English communication skillsExperience in payments or cryptoThe role is fully remote.This is a rare opportunity to shape an Android platform, establish the engineering culture and influence how a security-critical product is built from the ground up.
