As an Android Developer, you'll be part of a agile, distributed team that delivers high-quality mobile solutions. You'll have the chance to learn from seasoned engineers, practice collaborative coding, and contribute to every stage of the development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain features for our Android applications using Kotlin and Android Studio.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and ship new functionality.Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while following modern Android best practices.Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and continuously improve our codebase.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by users, including beta and production releases.Contribute to the implementation of architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVI.Use Jetpack Compose to build responsive UI components and ensure the apps adhere to Material Design guidelines.Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party libraries to enhance functionality.Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure the robustness of the application.Collaborate in an agile environment, attending stand-ups, retros, and sprint planning.Document and share knowledge to support peer learning.Technical EnvironmentOur tech stack is continuously evolving, but here’s what we currently emphasize:Language: Kotlin (primary), with some legacy Java.UI: Jetpack Compose is our primary tool for building UI, but you'll also deal with XML layouts on maintenance projects.Architecture: MVVM with a single-activity approach, using ViewModel and LiveData/Flow.Dependency Injection: Hilt.Networking: Retrofit and OkHttp.Database: Room.Version Control: Git and GitHub, with a strong emphasis on pull-request workflows.Testing: JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito.We expect you to come in with a passion for to explore, not immediately profess, but you'll get plenty of support to ramp up.Learning & GrowthWe believe in continuous development.
