Location: Four days remote, one day per week in ManchesterStart Date: ImmediateWe are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team and contribute to a national-scale mobile app within a public sector organisation that prioritises engineering excellence.

You will be part of a forward-thinking environment with a modern setup that includes automated testing, ephemeral branch deployments, and performance testing using AWS CodeBuild.In this role, you'll appreciate a focus on clean architecture and thorough test coverage. Working mostly remotely, you’ll be crucial in our efforts to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate internal government services into a heavily utilised mobile app.Develop features end to end, maintaining high standards in testing and quality throughout.Essential Skills:Strong proficiency in KotlinExperience with Jetpack ComposeFamiliarity with MVVM and Clean ArchitectureCompetence in automated testing (unit, integration/feature, and UI)Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CDDesirable Skills:Knowledge of JavaExperience with K6 for performance testingFamiliarity with AWS and CodeBuild

Requirements
