Company DescriptionPayRup is a fast-growing fintech & digital payments platform focused on simplifying online transactions, utility payments, mobile recharges, travel bookings, and more through a unified mobile experience.Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 1–2 years of experience in mobile application development. Candidates with experience in FinTech products such as DMT, AEPS, MATM, UPI, BBPS, Payment Gateway, Wallet, or Banking Applications will be preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Android applications.Develop scalable and secure mobile applications using Kotlin and/or Java.Integrate APIs related to DMT, AEPS, MATM, UPI, BBPS, Payment Gateway, and Wallet services.Collaborate with Product, Backend, QA, and UI/UX teams.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.Ensure application security, performance, and responsiveness.Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.Required Skills1–2 years of experience in Android Development.Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and REST APIs.Understanding of JSON, API integration, and mobile app architecture.Familiarity with MVVM Architecture and Android Jetpack Components.Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, and Analytics.Knowledge of Git version control.Preferred SkillsExperience in FinTech applications.Knowledge of DMT, AEPS, MATM, UPI, BBPS, Payment Gateway, and Wallet integrations.Experience with SQLite, Room Database, and local storage.Understanding of mobile application security and encryption.Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.
