Role- Android DeveloperRemoteContract Only USC who can Obtain Security Clearance Required QualificationsMust Have Federal Agency Experience .6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on ownership of production Android applications. Equivalent depth of relevant experience will also be considered.Advanced Kotlin expertise with strong knowledge of Android SDK fundamentals, Jetpack libraries, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and reactive state management.Proven production experience with Jetpack Compose, including state management, navigation, performance optimization, testing, and interoperability with traditional Android Views.Strong understanding of Android application architecture and design patterns, with demonstrated ability to make sound architectural decisions and safely evolve mature codebases.Hands-on experience integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs, local data persistence, background processing, authentication, analytics, and push notifications.Strong testing and debugging skills, including unit/UI testing, performance analysis, crash investigation, and using production telemetry and analytics to drive engineering decisions.Proven experience building, releasing, and maintaining applications through Google Play, including staged rollouts, monitoring production health, troubleshooting issues, and delivering fixes.Strong understanding of mobile application performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, designers, and other non-engineering stakeholders.Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers, conducting knowledge sharing, and improving engineering practices through technical leadership and influence.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment while taking ownership of technical decisions and production outcomes.
