It runs in English and Arabic, light and dark mode, on phones and tablets.The roleWe're hiring a Junior Android Developer who recently graduated with a Computer Science degree. You should be able to turn a Figma design into a screen that matches it exactly, and Claude Code should already be a core part of how you build software, not an occasional autocomplete.Why this role is differentReal ownership, early. You won't spend six months fixing typos. You'll own features in a production app.AI-native engineering. You get a Claude Code seat, and you'll use it with the Figma MCP every day to plan, build, refactor, test and review.Serious mentorship. A teammate reviews every pull request, and so does Claude in CI. You'll get feedback on every line you write.A modern stack: Kotlin 2.x, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, Hilt, Media3, Gradle version catalogs and GitHub Actions.What you'll doTurn Figma designs into pixel-perfect Compose screens. That includes spacing, typography, colors, component states and motion, in light/dark, LTR/RTL (Arabic), on phones and tablets.Build and extend our in-house design system. Its color tokens come straight from Figma variables.Ship features end to end across our clean architecture: Compose UI → Hilt ViewModels with StateFlow → use cases → repositories on Retrofit, Room and Paging 3.Work on the feed, stories, video playback (Media3 / ExoPlayer), media uploads, notifications and in-app subscriptions.Use Claude Code to move fast, while owning and understanding every line it writes.Follow a professional Git workflow: one feature branch per change, Conventional Commits, and reviewed pull requests.What we're looking forA Bachelor's in Computer Science (or Computer Engineering), class of 2025 or 2026.Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OOP and basic concurrency.Hands-on Kotlin and Jetpack Compose: layouts, modifiers, state hoisting, recomposition, lazy lists and theming.A sharp eye for UI. You read Figma auto-layout, constraints, variables and variants, and you notice when something is 2dp off.Real, regular use of Claude Code. You know how to give it context (CLAUDE.md, a plan, the right files), break work into steps it handles well, and review and test what it produces.Git and GitHub: branches, pull requests and resolving merge conflicts.Clear written and spoken English.
