In this part-time, fully remote role, you will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build intuitive mobile experiences, improve application performance, and deliver reliable features that meet business and user requirements.The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong programming skills, attention to detail, and a passion for developing high-quality mobile applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain Android applications based on product requirements.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Kotlin and/or Java.Build responsive user interfaces that follow Android design guidelines.Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to deliver new features.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.Optimize application speed, stability, security, and compatibility across Android devices.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and development planning.Write and maintain unit tests and other relevant automated tests.Support application releases, version updates, and ongoing technical improvements.Requirements3+ years of professional experience in Android application development preferred.Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, with a solid understanding of Android development fundamentals.Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile application architecture.Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and version control workflows.Understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive layouts, and mobile performance optimization.Knowledge of debugging, testing, and application security best practices.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with remote teams.What We OfferFlexible, part-time, fully remote working arrangements.Opportunities to contribute to meaningful mobile development projects.Collaboration with cross-functional product and engineering teams.Opportunities to strengthen technical expertise and explore modern Android technologies.A professional environment that values innovation, code quality, ownership, and continuous learning.
