The company supports bill payments for utilities, tuition, insurance, public fees, credit cards, and installments, as well as e-wallet services and payment gateway solutions. Payoo also operates self-service kiosks, mobile POS (PaymPOS), and services for online purchases with in-store payment and item pick-up/drop-off. Its services are designed to reach both banked and unbanked customers through online platforms and an extensive network of physical stores, contributing to inclusive and convenient financial access.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Android Developer (Java/Kotlin) role based in Ho Chi Minh City. The Android Developer will design, develop, and maintain Android applications that support Payoo’s payment services, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. Daily tasks include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, fixing bugs, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver user-friendly mobile experiences. The role involves participating in code reviews, writing unit and integration tests, and adhering to best practices in Android architecture and design. The developer will also help improve development processes, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with Android platform updates and payment industry standards.Qualifications Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and experience delivering production-ready Mobile Applications.Proficiency in Android Development using Java and Kotlin, including familiarity with common frameworks and libraries.Ability to apply Android Design principles, including material design guidelines, responsive layouts, and intuitive UX patterns.Solid Software Development skills, including object-oriented programming, RESTful API integration, and version control (e.g., Git).Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and modern Android architectures (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).Knowledge of secure coding practices and performance optimization for mobile apps, especially in fintech or payment solutions.Good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication in cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with unit testing, continuous integration, and publishing apps to Google Play is an advantage.
