Location: Driebergen-Rijsenburg, NetherlandsContract: 12 Months (Extension Possible)Start Date: ASAPHours: 32 Hours per WeekLanguage: English (Dutch is a Plus)Employment: Payroll / Detachering Only - No ZZPApplication Deadline: 10 October 2026 About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Medior / Senior Android Developer to join a leading organisation in the financial services sector.You will be responsible for developing and enhancing a native Android application, delivering new features, improving user experience and ensuring application stability, security and performance.Working within an Agile product team, you will collaborate with Android and iOS developers, backend engineers, UX specialists and product managers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.Design and implement modern, responsive mobile interfaces.Build scalable applications using MVVM architecture.Develop new application features and improve existing functionality.Write and maintain unit tests and automated UI tests.Investigate and resolve production incidents and performance issues.Collaborate with backend teams on API integrations.Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and technical refinement sessions.Ensure clean code, application security and continuous improvement. Essential RequirementsMinimum 3 years of professional Android development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Jetpack libraries.Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.Knowledge of Gradle and Android build processes.Experience with unit testing and UI automation.Experience integrating REST APIs.Familiarity with Agile development and cross-functional product teams.Strong English communication skills. Nice to HaveTeamCity CI/CD experience.Espresso, Paparazzi and Compose UI Testing.Java / Jakarta EE experience.Backend development experience.AI-assisted / Agentic coding experience.Previous banking or financial services experience.Dutch language skills.Experience working in product-led organisations.
