Team members at mroads contribute to products and services that directly impact the future of work and HR technology.Role Description This is a full-time Android Developer role based in Benito Juárez, CMX, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site and work-from-home flexibility (3 days onsite). The Android Developer will design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications that integrate with mroads’ platforms, including Paññã and other workforce solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing new features, optimizing performance, ensuring application reliability, and collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers. The role involves writing clean, testable code, performing code reviews, resolving bugs, and contributing to app architecture and UX improvements. The Android Developer will also stay current with Android best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance product quality.QualificationsLead the end-to-end architecture and development of Android applications using KotlinDefine and enforce mobile architecture standards (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization, design patterns)Drive migration and development of UI using Jetpack ComposeDesign and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with secure, scalable mobile solutionsCollaborate with product, UX, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise-grade mobile appsReview code, ensure best practices, and maintain high standards for performance, security, and scalabilityMentor developers, conduct technical interviews, and contribute to engineering excellenceEstablish CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and release best practicesEvaluate new tools, frameworks, and Android platform updatesRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of mobile development experience, with strong focus on AndroidExpert-level Kotlin developmentHands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI practicesStrong knowledge of Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow, and modern app architectureSolid experience integrating RESTful and GraphQL servicesDeep understanding of mobile system design, performance optimization, and securityExperience in technical leadership or architecture rolesStrong experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Play Store deploymentsGood to HaveExperience with large-scale or enterprise mobile platformsKnowledge of mobile DevOps, Firebase, and analytics toolsExposure to cloud-backed mobile ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience modernizing or migrating legacy Android apps to ComposeThanks & Regards.!Azhar SyedAzhar.syed@mroads.com
