React Native / ExpoAbout AbleAble is building a stablecoin neobank. Users deposit USDT/USDC and spend it anywhere with a real card.We have already shipped a beta product end to end live. Our mobile app is built with Expo/React Native and is currently shipping on iOS. We are looking for someone to own the Android side and take us to the Play Store.Role OverviewWe are looking for an Android-focused React Native/Expo engineer who can own Android builds, releases, native integrations, device-specific behavior, and the Play Store launch process. This role is ideal for someone who understands both React Native and native Android well enough to make a fintech app feel reliable, secure, and production-ready on Android.ResponsibilitiesOwn Android end to end for the Expo/React Native app, including EAS builds, signing, Play Store listing, review process, staged rollouts, and release cadence.Make the app feel native on Android, including navigation, back-button behavior, keyboard handling, permissions flows, layouts, and performance on mid-range devices.Implement Android-specific integrations for a fintech app, including secure storage/Keystore, biometric authentication, verification links, and push notifications.Support time-sensitive 3DS purchase approval flows.Integrate and test third-party native SDKs, including KYC/document capture and wallet SDKs, inside the Expo config-plugin model.Write native modules in Kotlin where Expo does not cover the required functionality.Explore Google Wallet push provisioning so users can add their card to Google Pay.Contribute to shared app code where needed.RequirementsProven experience shipping Android apps to the Play Store.Strong understanding of the Play Store release process, policy review, staged rollouts, and device-fragmentation testing.Strong React Native experience.Enough native Android/Kotlin experience to write modules, debug crashes, and integrate SDKs that Expo does not support out of the box.Strong understanding of Android product feel, including smooth lists, correct back behavior, input latency, and cold-start time.Understanding of mobile security basics for financial apps, including what belongs in Keystore, what should not be stored on disk, and how to handle sensitive screens such as card details.Nice to HaveFintech, banking, or wallet app experience.Experience with EAS Build, EAS Submit, and Expo config plugins.Experience with Google Pay push provisioning or 3DS SDKs.Arabic/RTL layout experience.How We WorkAble is small, fast, and high-trust.
