Android Engineer

We would love to hear from you if…5+ years of experience in developing Android apps with a history of launching successful projectsUnderstanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, object-oriented-programming (OOP), frameworks and technologiesStrong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence the broader engineering team and understand their points of viewKotlin and Java programming skillsUnderstanding of the Android SDK and Performance monitoring toolsExperience developing and delivering using Agile methodologiesPartner with product, design, QA and fellow engineers to determine the best way to meet business requirementsReview code for others on the team and provide thoughtful feedbackProactively monitor and improve the technical performance of the appParticipate in technical discussions with fellow engineersKnowledge in jetpack compose is plus Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality Android applications using KotlinWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.Implement unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.Contribute to architectural decisions and help to improve our development processes.Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues.Stay up to date with the latest android technologies and trends.Participate in the CI/CD process, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
