Android Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join a high-impact mobile engineering team building customer-facing experiences for a large-scale consumer application used by millions of users. This role is focused on feature development within a native Android environment, creating the experiences customers interact with every day.What You'll Do:Design, build, test, and deploy native Android features using Kotlin and Android SDKCollaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to deliver intuitive mobile experiencesDevelop scalable, maintainable UI components and mobile architecturesIntegrate backend services and APIs to support seamless user journeysOptimize application performance, reliability, and overall user experienceParticipate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and feature planningWhat We're Looking For:Strong experience developing native Android applications with KotlinDeep understanding of Android SDK and modern mobile development practicesExperience building and shipping customer-facing features in large-scale consumer applicationsKnowledge of REST APIs, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and mobile design patternsProven ability to work in complex codebases and deliver features from concept through productionStrong collaboration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
