The center maintains strong international networks, especially across Europe, OECD countries, and Southeast Asia, offering a collaborative and globally oriented research environment.Role Description The Anesthesiologist Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Rawalpindi. The role involves supporting anesthesiologists in planning and delivering safe anesthesia care for surgical and diagnostic procedures, including preoperative assessments and preparation of equipment and medications. Daily tasks include monitoring patients before, during, and after anesthesia, managing vital signs, documenting clinical information, and assisting in critical care situations when needed. The Anesthesiologist Assistant collaborates closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure coordinated patient care, adherence to clinical protocols, and compliance with quality and safety standards. The role also includes participation in continuing education, clinical audits, and the implementation of evidence-based practices in anesthesia and perioperative care.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine with training relevant to anesthesiology and perioperative care.Proficiency in Anesthesiology and General Anesthesia techniques, including patient monitoring and pharmacology.Experience or familiarity with Critical Care Medicine in the context of perioperative and postoperative patient management.Ability to assist in Surgery and anesthesia-related procedures, ensuring safe and efficient operating room workflows.Recognized medical qualification (e.g., relevant bachelor’s degree and clinical training) and eligibility to work in a clinical environment in Rawalpindi.Knowledge of clinical safety standards, infection control, and emergency response protocols.Effective communication skills, capacity to work in interdisciplinary teams, and attention to detail in documentation.Commitment to continuous professional development and openness to evidence-based and innovative practices in healthcare.
