The role supports daily operations, guest engagement, administration, and content creation while creating a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for children and families. The Animator serves as both an entertainer and educator, helping children build confidence, creativity, and communication skills.ROLE PROFILEFacilitate creative workshops covering public speaking, storytelling, drama, communication skills, and creative writing for children of various age groups.Create engaging, safe, and inclusive learning experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and self-expression.Support the daily operation of the PlayShop and ensure activities are delivered according to established schedules, lesson plans, and brand standards.Welcome and engage children, parents, and guests while delivering exceptional customer service and guest experiences.Build positive relationships with families and maintain professional communication regarding children's participation and development.Support front desk responsibilities including guest inquiries, booking management, attendance tracking, and administrative tasks.Film, edit, and create short-form content for classes, events, workshops, and promotional activities.Assist with session planning, reporting, record keeping, calendar coordination, and digital administration.Host and support performances, parent engagement sessions, in-house events, community activities, and special programs.Monitor facilities and equipment, report maintenance issues, and ensure learning spaces remain clean, organized, and operational.Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across all PlayShop areas.Support inventory management, stock monitoring, and reporting of shortages or discrepancies.Follow child safeguarding, behavior management, health and safety, and incident reporting procedures.Address guest concerns and complaints professionally while ensuring timely resolution and positive service recovery.Support achievement of guest satisfaction, attendance, retention, engagement, and NPS targets.Participate in regular training sessions, meetings, coaching activities, and continuous learning initiatives.Collaborate effectively with colleagues, Entertainment Managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.Promote company values and contribute to a positive, energetic, and collaborative team culture.Follow operational procedures, service standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.Perform additional duties and assignments as required to support business needs.REQUIREMENTS0-3 years of experience in education, entertainment, hospitality, childcare, performing arts, retail, customer service, or a similar guest-facing environment.Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Education, Performing Arts, Communications, Hospitality, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.Passion for working with children and creating engaging learning or entertainment experiences.Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.Confident, energetic, and comfortable leading groups and facilitating interactive activities.Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and guests.Creative mindset with interest in drama, storytelling, public speaking, writing, arts, or performance-based activities.Basic videography, content creation, and editing skills are preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a positive and proactive attitude.Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and child safeguarding standards.Physically able to conduct active sessions and work in a dynamic environment.Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and special events as required.Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.WHAT WE OFFERAt Majid Al Futtaim, we’re on a mission to create great moments, spread happiness, and build experiences that stay in our memories for a lifetime.
