The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building API automation frameworks, developing test scripts, executing performance tests, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.Must-Have Requirements5–8+ years of dedicated Software Testing / Quality Engineering experience.Strong hands-on experience with API Automation, including REST Assured and Postman/Newman.Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript.Hands-on experience with JMeter or Locust for load and performance testing.Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, methods, headers, status codes, JSON, and XML.Experience testing Microservices architectures, including OAuth2/JWT, rate limiting, and service-to-service communication.Experience with Splunk or similar APM/observability tools for monitoring and correlating system performance with load metrics.Practical experience integrating automation/performance testing into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools.Strong Git experience, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks.Create and execute automated backend/API test suites.Design and execute load, stress, and performance tests.Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.Monitor application health and performance using Splunk/APM tools.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases.Maintain test scripts, documentation, and automation best practices.
