This role is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending apparel and accessories that align with their style and budget. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with fitting rooms, processing transactions, managing returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate point-of-sale operations. The Apparel Sales Assistant helps keep the sales floor organized, replenishes inventory, supports visual merchandising, and ensures that displays reflect current promotions and brand standards. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries, handling basic product knowledge questions, and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals and provide an inclusive, positive shopping experience.Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to engage shoppers and build positive relationships.Clear and professional communication skills, including active listening and the ability to explain product features and promotions.Sales skills to identify customer needs, suggest relevant items, and support store revenue goals.Organization skills to manage merchandise, maintain a tidy sales floor, and follow store procedures efficiently.Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling; prior retail or apparel experience is beneficial.Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to stand, move, and lift light to moderate loads during shifts.
