You will build the test strategy and automation that let the team release frequently without regressions in critical banking workflows. This is an onsite role in Riyadh, open to all nationalities, requiring strong test engineering experience on Appian or comparable BPM/low-code platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine the test strategy across functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance and security testingBuild and maintain UI automation for Appian using the Appian Selenium API, FitNesse for Appian or Cucumber-based frameworksAutomate API and integration tests for Appian Web APIs and downstream services (Karate, REST Assured or Postman/Newman)Embed automated tests in CI/CD pipelines with quality gates before each deploymentRun performance and load testing (JMeter, Gatling or Appian performance tooling) for peak banking volumesValidate role-based access, maker-checker controls, data masking and audit logsManage test data and environments, including masked production-like data compliant with PDPLLead UAT with business users, track defects through to closure and report quality metrics to delivery leadershipRequirements10+ years of total experience, including 6+ years of hands-on Appian developmentAppian Certified Senior Developer (mandatory)Notice period of 1 month, or immediate joiners preferredMust HavesExpert in SAIL, interface design patterns and Appian Portals/SitesStrong Appian Data Fabric skills: record types, sync, relationships, custom record fields and record-level securityData modeling and SQL (views, indexes, stored procedures)Eye for UX, with experience working alongside UX/UI designersStrong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skillsNice to HaveExperience with Appian AI features (AI Skills, document extraction, AI Copilot)Appian Component Plug-ins (React/JavaScript)Figma familiarityCustomer-facing portal experience in bankingBenefitsWhy Join UsSet the quality bar for mission-critical banking applications at a leading bank in KSA, and build the automation that lets the team ship with confidence.DisclaimerThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the role.
