Application Developer (L2/L3)

Project Description:As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You will apply your knowledge and expertise across the software development lifecycle while partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. This role combines application development with L2/L3 production support responsibilities, requiring candidates who are comfortable operating in a production environment and balancing both development and operational duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Python, and related technologies.
• Provide L2/L3 application support and troubleshooting for production environments.
• Monitor and support application health using tools such as Grafana, ELK, and MQ/Kafka.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, system issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to ensure application stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and support teams to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
• Utilize Unix/Linux environments extensively for application support, diagnostics, and automation.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell (Bash), or Java to improve operational efficiency.Mandatory Skills Description:
• 5+ years of experience in software development, combined with L2/L3 application support responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development, with working knowledge of Python and Shell (Bash) scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience working with Unix/Linux operating systems and SQL.
• Good understanding of Grafana, ELK, MQ/Kafka, WebSocket, SFTP, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience supporting applications in production environments, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to balance development and support responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident working in an SRE/Production Support setup and comfortable participating in operational support activities.
