Application Engineer

Role and ResponsibilitiesYour main role is to develop cutting-edge software solutions to optimize our business operations. To analyze current business processes and work on process enhancement. Lead application team and ensure timely delivery of solutions. You will also support and facilitate end user training.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesManaging an application portfolio and associated projectsIdentifying opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or process improvementProviding application administrative support across applications as neededPartnering with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT management to provide a strategic vision for new and supported applications and create system roadmaps and business processesAddressing the various needs, concerns, expectations of stakeholder groups in planning and executing projects, meeting project requirements and creating project deliverablesBalancing competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources and risks in order to accommodate the needs of each user/customerBuilding a strong technical culture around our business systems that emphasizes technical excellence, rapid iteration, strong security, and frictionless user experiencesManage application maintenance outsourcing & software contract agreements; Implement and monitor standards around scope management, financial management, service level agreements (SLA), ensure compliance to mitigate risk, increase service/business Impact & reduce costs.Deep hands-on experience with systems integrationsQualifications and Education RequirementsB.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology or higherMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar roleCertified in any of (CSM, PMP, ITIL Foundation, COBIT) or there equivalentTechnical Skills and KnowledgeHands on experience in Project management principles and software management methodologiesExperience with database management and PL/Sql (Oracle is a plus)Familiar with integration tools and technologies such as JSONFamiliar with SAAS and cloud-based services
