Apply & track with Apply EdgeOur client, a global industrial technology manufacturer serving specialized automation and process-control applications, is seeking an Applications Engineer to join its growing U.S. team.This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role focused on application engineering, technical support, and problem solving. The Applications Engineer will work directly with customers and manufacturer representatives across North America to understand applications, recommend products, prepare technical quotations, troubleshoot systems, and support projects from initial inquiry through implementation.The company operates with a small, collaborative team, giving this person exposure to a variety of technical and customer-facing responsibilities rather than being limited to one narrow engineering function. There is also significant long-term growth potential.Key ResponsibilitiesReview customer applications and specifications to recommend appropriate technical solutionsProvide application and technical support to customers, manufacturer representatives, and distributorsTroubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical system issuesAssist customers with product selection, system implementation, and commissioningPrepare technical quotations based on customer applications and requirementsPerform light hands-on diagnostics, testing, and repair of returned equipmentServe as a technical resource for manufacturer representatives across North AmericaDevelop long-term relationships with customers and channel partnersAssist with additional technical and operational responsibilities as needed within a small-team environmentIdeal BackgroundBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent hands-on technical experienceOpen to new graduates and early-career engineers; approximately 1–3 years of experience is idealStrong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of electrical systemsAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and system layoutsComfortable communicating directly with customers and explaining technical conceptsHands-on problem solver who enjoys working across a variety of technical responsibilitiesComfortable working within a small organization where responsibilities can evolve based on business needsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: up to $80,000Bonus: $20,000Flexibility above the range for a highly qualified candidateMedical insurance contribution401(k) with company match15 days PTOPaid holidaysWhy This RoleStrong opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain broad applications experienceWork directly with customers and manufacturer representatives across North AmericaExposure to application engineering, troubleshooting, commissioning, and hands-on product supportPotential international technical trainingSmall-team environment with the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility earlyLong-term opportunity to grow into expanded technical and commercial roles
