Your RoleAs Application Engineer, you are the technical specialist connecting customer needs with Kalpana's technology capabilities. You will work with customers, research partners and industrial stakeholders across sectors including photovoltaics, batteries, semiconductors and advanced materials.You will identify application requirements, assess the potential of ALD technology, and translate market needs into clear specifications for process and equipment development. In this role, you help drive the commercialization of next-generation coating solutions in emerging markets. Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical application expert in customer-facing activities across multiple industries.Engage with customers to understand application requirements, performance targets and manufacturing challenges.Translate customer needs into technical specifications for process and equipment development.Collaborate closely with process engineers and mechanical engineers to ensure market requirements are reflected in development activities.Support customer evaluations, pilot projects and technology demonstrations.Represent Kalpana at customer meetings, conferences, exhibitions and industry events.Contribute to strategic market development and technology roadmaps. What We Are Looking ForBachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Nanotechnology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience in an industrial technology environment, preferably in photovoltaics, batteries, semiconductors, coatings, advanced materials or related sectors.Strong understanding of material performance requirements, industrial manufacturing processes and technology development.· Proven experience working with customers and translating market needs into technical development requirements.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Commercial mindset with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.Fluent in English.What We OfferA dynamic and international working environment.The opportunity to help commercialize a breakthrough technology platform across multiple industries.A responsible role with significant autonomy and impact.Competitive salary and benefits.25 days of paid holiday.Ready to help us power the future of sustainable tech?
