Application Engineer - HVAC

Department - DCServe HX Provide technical application support, equipment selection, and engineering solutions for DCServe's HVAC, District Cooling, Plumbing, and Infrastructure product portfolio. Support the sales team by preparing technical proposals, product selections, and quotations while ensuring compliance with project specifications and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.Select and size products based on project requirements and technical specifications.Prepare technical and commercial quotations.Develop technical submittals, compliance statements, and product documentation.Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and the sales team.Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments on technical matters.Support project execution by resolving technical queries and ensuring timely delivery of engineering documentation.Maintain accurate quotation, project, and technical records.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.Experience2–5 years' experience in Application Engineering, Technical Sales, HVAC, District Cooling, MEP, or related engineering fields.UAE/GCC experience is preferred.SkillsProduct selection and application engineeringTechnical proposal and quotation preparationAbility to read engineering drawings and specificationsAutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiencyStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsCustomer-focused with excellent coordination and teamwork abilitiesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely and accurate quotation preparationTechnical approval success rateOrder conversion rateCustomer response timeCustomer satisfactionOn-time technical support and project coordination
