Application Manager

Alshiaka is looking for an experienced and results-driven Application Manager to lead the management, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of the company’s critical business applications.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that ERP, Point-of-Sale (POS), and other business platforms are reliable, secure, properly integrated, and aligned with the company’s operational and strategic requirements.Key Responsibilities• Manage ERP, POS, and other critical business applications throughout their lifecycle.• Ensure application availability, stability, performance, security, and data integrity.• Oversee application configurations, upgrades, enhancements, testing, releases, and deployments.• Manage ERP modules and related business processes, including finance, procurement, inventory, sales, and operations.• Support and continuously improve POS functionality across stores and business locations.• Ensure reliable data flow between ERP, POS, payment, inventory, financial, e-commerce, reporting, and other integrated systems.• Lead end-to-end application implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation support.• Manage system integrations, data migration, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.• Lead user acceptance testing and obtain formal business approval before production releases.• Plan and deliver application projects within the approved scope, timeline, budget, and quality requirements.• Lead and develop the application support and implementation team.• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, IT Infrastructure, and other business departments.• Manage software vendors, implementation partners, service-level agreements, support contracts, licenses, and project deliverables.• Maintain system documentation, integration diagrams, configuration records, process flows, and user guides.• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, information-security standards, and change-management procedures.Required Qualifications and Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.• At least 7 years of relevant experience in business applications, ERP systems, POS systems, application implementations, or systems integrations.• At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory, team-lead, or management role.• Demonstrated experience managing ERP and business applications in a multi-department or multi-location environment.• Proven experience delivering application implementation and integration projects.• Strong understanding of finance, procurement, inventory, sales, and operational processes.• Practical knowledge of databases, APIs, web services, middleware, reporting tools, and data integrations.• Good understanding of project-management principles and delivery methodologies.• Strong written and spoken English. Arabic language skills would be an advantage.Preferred Qualifications• Experience within the retail sector and with multi-store POS environments.• Experience with leading ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or comparable solutions.• Experience with payment, inventory, e-commerce, CRM, or loyalty systems.• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL, or another relevant professional certification.• Experience managing application vendors, contracts, licenses, and service-level agreements.• Knowledge of cloud applications, cybersecurity controls, business continuity, and disaster recovery.The Ideal CandidateYou are a hands-on application leader who combines strong technical expertise with commercial and operational understanding.
