Application/ Production Support Engineer (Weekend Shift)

Our client is a leading global financial markets infrastructure provider that delivers trading, market data, and investment solutions to financial institutions worldwide. With a strong international presence and a technology-driven environment, they operate mission-critical platforms that support global capital markets around the clock.They are looking for an experienced Application/Production Support Specialist to join their Singapore team. In this role, you will provide production support for business-critical trading and market data platforms by monitoring system health, troubleshooting technical issues, managing production incidents, and collaborating with global technology teams to ensure platform stability and service availability.This position follows a 4-day work week with weekend coverage to provide seamless operational support and handovers across global teams to maintain 24/7 platform availability.

Key Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, Technical Operations, or a similar technical support role.Experience supporting financial trading, market data, exchange, or other mission-critical platforms.Strong hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX and SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.Proven experience managing production incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and coordinating issue resolution.Familiarity with APIs, networking concepts, log analysis, and system monitoring tools.Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCPKnowledge of financial markets, including equities, options, futures, FX, or market dataStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with global stakeholders in a 24/7 operational environment.Comfortable working a permanent weekend shift as part of a follow-the-sun global support model.If you are interested, please apply to the job post or contact me at xuanxuan.lim@ambition.com.sgRegrettably, only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Business Registration Number: 200611680D |Licence Number: 10C5117 |EA Registration Number: R23115372
