Application Support Specialist | DubaiA leading global investment firm is seeking an Application Support Specialist to support and optimize business-critical trading applications within a fast-paced trading environment. Working closely with traders, portfolio managers, operations teams, and developers, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting production issues, managing system onboarding, and ensuring the smooth operation of front-to-back trading platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide support for trading and business-critical applications across front, middle, and back-office functions.Investigate and resolve production issues while maintaining high service levels.Partner with traders, operations teams, and developers to improve system performance and supportability.Onboard new users and configure applications to support business workflows.Monitor production systems and participate in release testing and deployments.Requirements3+ years of application or production support experience.Strong Linux/Unix, SQL, and scripting experience (Python preferred).Experience supporting complex enterprise applications in a production environment.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.Financial services or trading environment experience is advantageous.Package: Competitive tax-free salary, bonus, and relocation support available.
