Global Admissions Counsellor/Student MentorPosition: Global Admissions CounsellorCompany: Global PathfindersLocation: New Delhi, IndiaWe seek a highly motivated Global Admissions Counsellor to join our team at Global Pathfinders who preferably has a 2-3 years of relevant experience in the field.As a Global Admissions Counsellor, you will be pivotal in guiding and advising students on their journey to pursue higher education opportunities overseas. Your expertise in various universities, courses, admission requirements, proficiency exams, scholarships, and destination countries will be instrumental in helping students make informed decisions about their academic future.Responsibilities:Essay Editing (Primary Focus)Review and edit personal statements, supplemental essays, and scholarship essays for structure, clarity, tone, and impactProvide detailed, actionable feedback across drafts while preserving the student's authentic voiceHelp students identify strong stories and angles from their own experiences , without writing the essay for themCatch grammar, flow, and consistency issues with a sharp editorial eyeTrack essay progress for students with being mindful of application deadlinesExcellent command of written English grammar, structure, and storytellingPrior experience editing college application essays, admissions essays, or similar personal narrative writing (strongly preferred)Familiarity with US/UK/international undergraduate admissions processes and essay prompts (e.g., Common App, UCAS, supplemental essays)Strong interpersonal skills ;patient, encouraging, and able to build rapport with teenagersAbility to give honest, constructive feedback without discouraging studentsWe need someone who is passionate about this and is motivated to mentor students Background in English, journalism, education, creative writing, or admissions counselling is a plusWHY JOIN USWork on meaningful, high-impact projects that shape students' futuresHybrid ModelCollaborative team of counsellors, mentors, and educatorsOpportunity to grow within a fast-growing college counselling practice
