Applications Engineer (CAD / Mechanical / Electrical)Hinckley£30,000 - £35,000 + BenefitsAre you an engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working with customers and seeing projects through from concept to delivery?This is a varied role that would suit somebody with a practical engineering background who enjoys a mix of CAD design, customer interaction, technical problem solving and project support. The role offers excellent exposure across engineering, product development, quality, customer support and commissioning activities.The RoleWorking closely with customers, engineering teams and production, you will support bespoke projects from initial enquiry through to final delivery.Key responsibilities include:Producing CAD drawings, layouts and technical presentationsSupporting customers with technical product enquiriesProducing technical proposals, reports and engineering documentationProviding technical support, troubleshooting and fault findingSupporting project delivery and customer installationsAssisting with product testing and evaluation activitiesCarrying out quality inspections on incoming componentsSupporting quality and continuous improvement initiativesWorking closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement and Customer Service teamsOccasional UK and international travel to support customers and installationsAbout YouPrevious experience within a mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering environment.
