Visa sponsorship is not authorized for this position now or in the future.The selected Applications Engineer must reside in the Twin Cities metro area or surrounding area as a Relocation Package is not offered for this position.HighlightsProvide technical sales and application support for electric linear motion products.Assist customers, distributors, and sales personnel with product selection, sizing, installation, and troubleshooting of electric actuators, motors, and drives.Perform engineering calculations related to motion dynamics, system requirements, and application performance.Recommend product solutions based on customer application requirements and operating conditions.Deliver product training, technical presentations, and application guidance to customers, distributors, and internal teams.Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Service to support customer success and business objectives.Maintain current knowledge of products, motion control technologies, and industry trends.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience, product application support, and internal processes.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Engineering Degree.Functional knowledge of electrical controls, motors, drives, and motion control systems.Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and application requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and engineering-related software tools.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Visa sponsorship is not authorized for this position now or in the future.Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.Relocation Package is not available.Annual Salary Rate: $75,000 to $85,000 (Depending on Experience) and a complete benefits package and other great perks.
