Applications Engineering LeaderNesco Resource is partnering with a manufacturing equipment company to identify an Applications Engineering Leader.This role offers the opportunity to lead an engineering team, guide complex customer projects, and help shape the development of equipment and processes used in medical device manufacturing. Reporting to the VP of Technology, you will combine technical leadership with team development and direct customer collaboration.What you’ll doLead and develop Applications Engineers supporting tooling, process development, custom engineering solutions, and technical support.Manage customer projects from initial concept through implementation and customer acceptance.Work directly with customers to solve manufacturing challenges.Provide technical direction on tooling design, process development, validation, and product enhancements.Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, Service, and Program Management to execute projects.Improve engineering practices, technical standards, and processes.Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent.Support customer meetings, executive discussions, and technical presentations.What we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience will be considered.At least 10 years of engineering experience.At least 5 years leading engineering teams, technical programs, or customer focused engineering organizations.Strong experience with tooling design, process development, customer validation, manufacturing equipment, and technical problem solving.Experience managing complex customer projects and initiatives across departments.Strong communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills.Preferred experienceMedical device manufacturing equipment or regulated manufacturing environments.Applications Engineering, Product Development, Tooling Engineering, or Sustaining Engineering.Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and paid sick time.Health savings and spending accounts.Short and long term disability coverage.Life and accidental death insurance.Parental leave, adoption, and fertility benefits.
