Applied AI Engineer | London | AI | Up to £140K + Equity

We're partnering with a venture-backed AI fintech that's building AI-first products to solve complex challenges for some of the world's leading financial institutions. Joining a small, high-performing engineering team, you'll work with LLMs, agentic AI and modern machine learning to build production-ready products that are redefining what's possible with AI.Responsibilities• Build production AI applications using LLMs, RAG and AI agents• Develop scalable backend systems using Python• Own features from concept through to production• Collaborate with engineers to shape the product and technical direction• Continuously improve AI systems, performance and developer experienceSkills & Experience• Strong commercial experience with Python.• Hands-on experience building AI products using LLMs, RAG or AI agents.• Previous experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.• Passion for solving complex engineering problems and building products from the ground up.• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related STEM discipline preferred.If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
